Lucky by name and circumstance
Last month the cutest and luckiest little 10 week old kitten you’ve ever seen was brought into us by some caring workers from the Harbour Tunnel Authority.
They had rescued the kitten from the side of the road inside the Sydney Harbour Tunnel, in response to reports of sightings from drivers using the tunnel! The poor little kitten was very frightened but unharmed. He had already been named Lucky by rescuers and one of them was keen to take him home.
After checking Lucky for a microchip (he did not have one) we admitted him into the hospital for observation. All seemed well, so we wormed him and treated him for fleas, then sent him off out of harm’s way to a more comfortable, loving home! |
