Tasmania offers varying experiences from rugged mountain peaks to lush fertile farmland and dramatic coastlines with stretches of white sandy beaches.  Launceston itself has superb dining, top entertainment, and quality shopping and breathtaking scenic beauty. Just 15 min from the city is Cataract Gorge with stunning walks through the gardens, over the wild rapids on the suspension bridge, or cross the river on the world’s longest single-span chairlift. Enjoy cable hang gliding, white water rafting or enjoy some world-class fly fishing in the nearby lakes.

Within one hour’s drive of the country club, you can tour of the nearby Tamar Valley Wine Route. Award winning wines are a feature of this region. Hollybank Treetop Adventures is awaiting your adrenalin rush and show off your golfing skills at a number of golf courses including the Barnbougle Dunes Golf Links all only an hour’s drive from Launceston!

Further afield, Tasmania is waiting. Launceston offers the ideal launching pad for trips to the east coast and its pristine beaches, or the wild-west coast around Strachan. Historic Hobart is only a two and a half hour drive away, as is the far north-west coast— including Cradle Mountain and Stanley - the Nut.
