AVBA President’s Welcome Drinks and Nibbles

Come and join us for welcome drinks and canapés, meet the AVBA Board and catch up with colleagues and friends. An excellent way to kick off your AVBA conference experience.



Pizza, Pasta and Wine Night

Thursday 17th September, 6:30pm

Tickets: $55.00 adults, children (up to 12yrs) $25.00

Meet up with your colleagues and their families for a great Mediterranean night. This will be a warm and family-friendly setting, just like a piece of Italy. We will share wood-fire pizzas, antipasto, along with contemporary and traditional pasta dishes, and more.  And all this will be complemented with quality wine, beer and softdrink. Relax and enjoy this night.

Early Morning Exercise

Horse Riding - With the superb location on the edge of natural bushland, Country Club Tasmania is an ideal place to enjoy a guided trail ride. Take a gentle stroll through the surrounding bush on trained horses with an experienced guide to show you the way. Pony rides suitable for children are also available by appointment.  Book at reception to secure your spot. Click here for more information.

Organised Walks

Tuesday 15th September

Cradle Mountain Walk 
Full day, start from Lake Dove at 10.00am (Easy/Medium/Hard)

Wednesday 16th September

Quamby Bluff
12.00 midday - 4.00pm (medium)


Join with the AVBA Board members on one of the organised walks around the gorgeous surrounding region.  The walks range from easy to hard with durations of 2 hours to 6 hours. 


Please note that the organised walks are subject to minimum numbers.  Contact the AVBA Office to register your interest.
