Business Manager

Judy Gillespie  BBus(HR & IR), MBA, Cert IV Workplace Training & Assessment, MAHRI

Judy has worked in the human resource management field in a variety of industries and has developed a passion for helping small businesses succeed in the often challenging area of managing their staff.

Judy is an active member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and is a member of the Regional Gold Coast Committee.  She has been involved in veterinary practice management for nearly ten years through her work with Vetmark and the AVPMA, as well as presenting workshops for the Diploma of Practice Management (Veterinary) for UNE Partnerships.

She is particularly interested in the areas of staff retention, recruitment and selection, and training.  Judy is excited to be part of the AVBA team and is looking forward to creating resources and solutions that will help practice managers make a difference.

She is accompanied through life by her family: husband Allan, children Max & Mia and Staffies Isabel and Nina.
