Below are a few guidelines we have compiled to ensure your function runs smoothly. If you have any questions please talk to your Functions Coordinator.
TENTATIVE BOOKINGS
Tentative bookings will be held for a period of 5 working days only. After this time the space will be released without notice.
HIRE FEES
Sports bar - The hire fee is $150.00, with a refundable security bond of $150.00.
Pool bar - The hire fee is $250.00, with a refundable security bond of $250.00
CONFIRMATION / DEPOSIT
To confirm the booking, a minimum deposit of $100.00 needs to be paid.
FUNCTION CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel your confirmed booking at least 1 week in advance a full refund will be provided. If less than 1 weeks notice is provided, the $100.00 deposit will be kept as a cancellation fee.
FUNCTION TIMES
The starting and finishing times of your function should be discussed with the function coordinator. The length of a standard function is 5hrs. However, exceptions may be made and confirmed prior to the functions commencement.
PAYMENT
Full payment is required before the commencement of the function.
DAMAGES
Clients are liable for any damage caused by themselves or other guests.
If damages do occur, the function bond will not be refunded.
COMPLIANCE
Clients are responsible for the orderly behaviour of their guests. Management and/or security will intervene if they feel it is required.
Clients can be required to assist management and security in the removal of intoxicated or troublesome guests. Failure to assist will lead to function being stopped and the security bond withheld.
The Crest Hotel follows the guidelines set out in The Responsible Service of Alcohol Act and therefor can refuse service to guests at anytime. Management holds the right to deem guests intoxicated or troublesome. Yard glasses, or similar, are not allowed.
INSURANCE
The Crest Hotel will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any items left on the premises. Bond will not be returned if any of these conditions are not met.
Food must be available for all guests and purchased through Mikes Grill. No food is allowed to be brought in. Nibblies such as chips can be organised through your function co-ordinator.
