Flyaway

Flyaway is an insecticidal spray for horses. It effectively controls nuisance insects including Bush Fly, House Fly, Stable Fly, Midges and Sandflies. It also aids in the prevention of Queensland itch.

The product contains Permethrin and Dibutyl phthalate. Permethrin is a sustained action insecticide. Dibutyl phthalate is a long term repellent particularly effective against midges and sandflies.

This means fewer applications are needed than other sprays.

Flyaway also contains DEET and Piperonyl butoxide. Piperonyl butoxide is a synergist to Permethrin. It renders insects more susceptible and assists with quicker knockdown. DEET is a highly effective insect repellent. It repels flies, mosquitos, midges and sandflies. This means that not only does Flyaway have a sustained action repellent, it also has a fast knock-down effect on insects.

Lavender oil working in conjunction with the other repellents ensures maximum efficacy, as there is not just reliance on one active. The lavender oil also imparts a pleasant perfume, avoiding the insecticidal smell of most repellents, making it better for human and horse noses.
