Megablud

Megablud is a potent multi-vitamin and multi-mineral oral supplement for horses.

It contains the vitamins and minerals that are most likely to be depleted in a horse experiencing metabolic stress, due to heavy work or training, growth, pregnancy, lactation, or convalescence.

Horses depend heavily on the quality of their diet, particularly when experiencing periods of heavy metabolic demand, such as heavy work and/or training, pregnancy, lactation, growth and convalescence.

The skeleton and oxygen carrying capacity of the blood are of fundamental importance to the performance horse and therefore, mineral requirements deserve careful attention. Vitamins are also very important in the daily functioning of the body’s metabolic pathways, immune system and for muscular activity. The performance horse in heavy work is commonly fed an artificial diet high in cereal hays and grains.

These diets may be appropriate for energy but, may not deliver the vitamins, minerals and trace elements that a horse in "metablic over-drive" requires. Working horses require 10 - 25% more magnesium for light to moderate work, respectively.
