Kim graduated from Sydney University with first class honours in 1997.

Since then she has worked in small animal practice in Sydney and the UK with a few short breaks for the purposes of travel and child-bearing!

Kim’s veterinary interests include most aspects of general small animal practice, particularly internal medicine and clinical pathology. She enjoys having the opportunity to interact with the humans in her patients’ lives and gains special satisfaction from helping to maintain the unique bond between people and their pets.

Kim joined the GVH team in June 2005 as a part-timer returning to work (mainly weekends) after having her first child, Harrison, in 2004. She has recently resumed work on Saturday mornings at GVH after a break to have her second child, Kamryn, in September 2006. She is finding the return to work refreshing and stimulating and finds herself looking forward to her Saturday mornings “out”!

Kim lives locally, and in addition to her kids she shares her home with husband Rod and their “first-born” … a beautiful and tolerant pussy cat named “Dozer” (so called after his dramatic rescue from the jaws of a bulldozer when he was a tiny stray kitten).
