Welcome to Our New Vet Chris Tan

Many of you may have already noticed a fresh new face at GVH.

Our new vet, Chris Tan, has  joined the team after finishing his surgery membership exams in the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists.

Chris is already well-known to most of our staff, having done some practical work at GVH while he was an undergraduate student. He graduated from Sydney University six and a half years ago.

In addition to completing his Veterinary Science degree, along the way he also spent a year

achieving his BSc, working on a project in veterinary anaesthesia. After graduation Chris spent some time in small animal practice, in both Sydney and the United Kingdom, as well as working some of the travel bug out of his system. He has a special interest in surgery, and no doubt will be spending as much time as possible with our resident specialist surgeon, Max.

We hope when you run into him  you’ll join us in welcoming Chris aboard the good ship GVH.
