It’s Business As Usual at GVH

GVH is now under reconstruction

You may have noticed that we’re looking more like a demolition site than a veterinary hospital at the moment, but please be assured that it’s business as usual while we undertake our renovations.

We’ll still be conducting consultations in the front part of the building that you’re all familiar with, and we have temporary facilities and accommodation next door for all our hospitalised cases. We remain able to offer our usual full range of services to you. The expected time to completion of the building work is between 6 and 9 months.

At the end we’ll be working out of a bigger (much bigger)  hospital, with improved (much improved) facilities for treating your pets.

If you visit our website you can access the architectural plans (also displayed in the waiting room area), and also see regularly updated reports and photos of  how the building work is progressing.

We hope you’ll forgive us any inconvenience you may experience during the construction phase of our grand adventure.

Temporary facilities are delivered!

There will inevitably some noise, some dust, and significant restrictions on parking space during the building work. If you are unable to find a parking space at the front of the building, we suggest on-road parking either in Tennyson Rd (across Victoria Rd from the practice), or in College St (behind the practice, with pedestrian access via the lane immediately on the western boundary of the hospital).

We’re all very excited about the facilities we will have when all the dust settles (literally and metaphorically), and we know it will be more than worth any temporary headaches we may experience over the next few months.

If you have any queries or experience any problems, please let one of the staff know and we will address your concerns.

Thank you for your patience.
