Handpiece Maintenance
D: Oil daily in the smaller of the two big tubes at the back of the handpiece using Tri-flow lubricant or equivalent. Depress foot pedal to insure oil is through to the turbine in the handpiece.
D: Clean exterior with alcohol.
D: Maintain pressure setting per manufacturers guidelines:
L.S. - 45 psi & H.S. - 35 psi
Low Speed Handpiece
D: Oil two or three drops twice per day
W: Prophy head - Flush with alcohol, dry and lubricate.
Y: Replace turbine, o-rings, prophy head, contra head and nose cones. Service Handpiece through iM3 or the manufacturer.
Note: Life, depending on work and maintenance can be as little as 3 months.
High Speed Handpiece
D: Oil two or three drops twice per day. Inspect burs daily for scratches, rust and bends and discard.
Air Compressor Maintenance for oil compressor
W: Drain water from tank at drain valve located under the white tank.
W: Empty regulator discharge bottle.
M: Check compressor oil level.
Y: Change oil and regulator filter, call iM3 for service kit.
D: Daily W: Weekly M: Monthly Y: Yearly
Air compressor maintenance for oil free compressor
W: Drain water (condensation) from tank drain valve located under the white tank
Y: Replace air intake filter
