iM3 Bur Kits are now sold in autoclavable blue holders!
There are 4 iM3 Bur Kits - FG Dogs, FG Cats, RA & HP - every one selected by a specialist veterinary dentist. Each kit contains the drawings of the bur head and suggested applications and re-ordering codes. A big help when selecting the right bur for the job.
FG Dog Burs (D7510) = Friction Grip burs are 19mm long. The high speed and light touch coupled with water cooling is the standard for most procedures. PICTURED
FG Cat Burs (D7530) = These short shank burs 16mm are preferred for use in the confines of the feline oral cavity. This kit contains an extra fine diamond bur for smoothing "neck lesions (CLL's, ORL's)
RA Bur Kit (D7520) = These Right Angle Burs have 22mm long shanks and a small slot at the end of the shank for locking the bur in place. For use when high torque, angulation and or sterile conditions are desired for surgical fracture repair, pulpotomies, etc. These burs are also commonly used on electric micromotors. The RA kit is supplied in a plastic box - not autoclavable.
HP Bur kit (D7540) = HP bur shanks are 44.5mm long, providing the extra length needed for use in large companion or domestic animals and exotic animals. HP burs are used in the Low speed Handpiece fitted with a 1:1 straight nose cone. The handpiece, SNC 1:1 and HP bur can be autoclaved. These large burs can drill through thick bone for surgical and endodontics work. PICTURED
