2007 Country Championships

The latest news from our Under 13 BDSA Squad is the selection of several of our players to represent Ballarat in the upcoming 2007 Country Championships to be held in Albury on the weekend of the 30th June - 2nd July 2007.

These players are as follows:

Teagan Noonan U11 Girls
Matthew Gibbs U11 Boys
Dylan Rendell U12 Boys
Billy Gianacopoulos U13 Boys
Jakob McDowell U13 Boys

This follows on from last weeks Girls Country Championships that were played in Shepparton in which 2 of our local female stars Lizzie Berg (U14 Girls) and Kristie Clark (U12 Girls) aquitted themselves very well.

This is a huge honor and continues the proud tradition we have amongst our local ranks of representing our club in these sides and is the first step in the selection process for State teams. We should all be very proud of these kids and their achievements. It is not easy for players from Maryborough to participate in these events as the trialling and training involved and the miles of travel the dedicated parents clock up is amazing."
