Players View : Daniel's Update

On the 22/07/07 Maryborough U/13 Squad played Vic Park in Ballarat. It was a cold morning; everyone was cold and the kick off started at 10.00am.
During the first half Daniel Carless did not stop running, continuously pushing down the line with the ball. Patrick McGregor supported the defense by repeatedly gaining the ball back and through doing some power kicks landed it in the front line. After a long time of hard running Jarryd Clifford scored a wonderful sneaky goal past the keeper.

Dylan Rendell did very well as goalkeeper for the first half only letting one goal in that was wind assisted. Jakob McDowell was all over the midfield with the ball and doing a very good left footer that only just missed the net. Andreas Doslea assisted getting the ball up the field with some very good headers.

The second half saw Brenton Walker replaced Dylan as goalkeeper and towards the end Dylan Rendell scored a thrilling goal over the keeper’s head. The over all score was 2/1.

Congratulations Maryborough Under 13’s, one of your best games played.
