Company Profiling - Quietly but Consistently

FedEx is undoubtedly one of the world's most recognised and respected brands with strong corporate values.

However, in Australia, FedEx is a brand that hardly touches the public. Here its touch points are mainly trade, business and Government. For over a decade, Network has been FedEx’s Australian PR partner, quietly but constantly ensuring that those who matter see FedEx as the international thought leader in express transportation, an Employer of Choice and as a respected Corporate Citizen.

FedEx's international experience shows that trade and business media in countries where it operates are important opinion formers and influencers.

A core element of our work is to ensure that FedEx is always positioned as an open and helpful source of news, comment and opinion for Australian media who report on cargo, logistics and airfreight. FedEx is always prepared to share its international perspective and make its senior regional executives available for comment.

However, media activities for FedEx are governed by strict criteria. It’s about messages, clarity and purpose. And it’s about ‘share of voice’ against major competitors. On these criteria Network and FedEx scores well, constantly obtaining more share of voice in Australian media than all of its competitors combined.

Recently, as an extension to our media program Network  began to expose FedEx’s online educational resources,  and the ways in which they drive their use, in logistics industry publications.

We have also taken opportunities to promote FedEx as an Employer of Choice via speaking engagements at large HR seminars.

FedEx has made an ongoing commitment to PR in Australia - but it’s highly targeted. It is being seen in the places where it wants to be seen. And how it wants to be seen!
