Jenni Beattie - Online Research Manager
Jenni’s focus is on the new horizons for PR - using new media to reach target audiences. And quantifying the delivery of messages from PR activities.
“I’ve always liked being at the ‘sharp end’ of business - introducing new methodologies and techniques to help achieve business results. Helping Network PR lead the way in Australia in encouraging their clients to use new media - in particular the web - in PR is an exciting new challenge in this digital age”, she says.
Jenni brings nearly two decades of information and research to her job after graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Information) from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
Jenni was at the ‘sharp end’ during 3 years with News Ltd where she set up a Research division to service senior management. Projects included the introduction of Pay TV into Australia, Copyright and the Senate Inquiry into Media Concentration of Ownership. During that time she produced a weekly Pay TV newsletter going to News Ltd operatives worldwide. She also introduced online news database technologies to the organisation.
She was also involved in the introduction of media research to Australia. As the first local employee of CARMA International, the leading media analysis company, she helped introduce formal media research to organisations such as Coca-Cola, Telstra, BHP, NRMA and AMLC.
“Information has the ability to impact change - whether it’s an old fashioned business library to today’s dynamic online environment. At the end of the day quality timely content will always be king”.
At Network PR Jenni is driving new media initiatives as well as ensuring the agency maintains its reputation as being a leader in Australia in providing results-driven communications.
