Network PR starts its own blog - FreshChat

Network PR has started its own Blog - FreshChat.

The Blog was created to allow Network PR staff to share with other their observations on anything to do with Online media and to create dialogue.

“Communication is very much at the crossroads - with social media and search challenging traditional media - and hopefully the content that is built up over time will provide readers with a good cross-section of insights”, said Grant Common, Managing Director of Network PR.

“Expect to see posts on anything to do with Online communication - from a variety of people on our blog team. Sometimes they’ll be detailed and serious while others will be pithier and a bit more cheeky. But above all our aim is to it short, light and relevant”.

Common said that Network PR had always been a leader within the Australian PR, communication and marketing community in debating issues connected with pr, marketing and communication.

Since 2001 the agency had produced a regular free newsletter/website PR Influences that had grown to having over 4000 registrants, with many more visiting the website monthly to view the 100 or more articles in the archives.

“PR Influences was very much web 1.0 - and more one-way communication. FreshChat was born because we wanted to have a more interactive - and lighter - format. And to reflect the Web 2.0 environment we now live and work in”, said Common.
