Registered Consultancies Group (RCG)
Only 10% of the businesses in New South Wales that call themselves public relations consultancies belong to the Registered Consultancies Group (NSW). We are one of them. Established by the Public Relations Institute of Australia, the Consultancy Registration Scheme, which is the basis of the RCG, aims to ensure that those who are members operate to established and transparent professional standards.
In much the same way as the PRIA establishes professional standards for individual practitioners, the Consultancy Registration Scheme seeks to impose professional standards on consultancy operation which will be a guide to public relations clients.
Members of the RCG, including Network PR, conform to the following standards:
- Reasonable service levels
- Industry average charge-out rates
- Dispute resolution between clients and consultancies
- Expectations of public relations program
- Quality assurance in public relations
Additionally, by being a member of the Registered Consultancy Group within the PRIA, Network PR is bound by the Institute’s ‘Consultancy Code of Practice’ that sets out the extra benchmarks for this elite group.

These established standards are an assurance to clients and prospective clients of the professionalism of consultancies, which have been registered after a review by their peers.
Network PR also adheres to the PRIA’s ‘Code of Ethics’ which covers the ways in which members of the Institute carry out their work to ensure responsible, ethical and accountable relationships between organisations and the community.
Individual Membership
Grant Common, founder and principal of Network PR, belongs to several local and international professional associations.
Grant is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA), a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) and a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Australian Interactive Media Industry Association
Network PR is a member of AIMIA, the peak national industry body representing the Interactive Media and Digital Content sectors in Australia.

"When online Australians use a search engine 85% choose natural search listings rather than sponsored links and the overwhelming majority (88%-92%) believe natural search to be either 'more relevant', 'more trusted' or 'more likely to influence them' than sponsored links."
