Blog Review

Published June - July 2007

Measurement is one area that PR has traditionally struggled with… not because it can’t be measured, but rather because people don’t fully understand what can be measured.  Therefore, in this edition we focus on blogs that discuss public relations and measurement.

Metrics Man

Don Bartholomew is a senior vice president at MWW Group, one of the top ten public relations agencies in the USA, known for its results-driven approach to public relations.  Don was elected to serve on the Measurement Commission of the Institute for Public Relations, one of only a handful of public relations agency representatives on the Commission.  http://metricsman.wordpress.com/

Intelligent Measurement

This blog is created by Richard Gaunt in London and Glenn O’Neil in Geneva and focuses on evaluation and measurement in communications, training, management and other fields.  http://intelligentmeasurement.wordpress.com/

The Measurement Standard

The gold standard of measurement - yes it is the Measurement Standard, the  international newsletter of public relations measurement and research published by KDPaine & Partners. http://kdpaine.blogs.com/themeasurementstandard/

PR Influences is produced by Sydney based online pr agency Network PR

Network PR are one of the few PR agencies in Australia to have our own Research Manager.  At Network PR, we have a range of measurement and reporting tools that can measure the effectiveness of Public Relations campaigns in monetary or industry comparative terms. Please contact us to find out how we can assist you with your pr campaign.
