-

-

-

She discusses that well funded front groups can dominate the marketplace and interfere with access to information and by doing so can corrupt communication processes. She also discusses how they can create false truths and in doing so the lack of transparency becomes evident.
The book is particularly timely given the current debate about ‘Astroturfing’ or the setting up of fake grassroots movements.
