Patented Acti-Grate is a new and quite revolutionary Grate Magnet system

in which the tubes of the grate magnet are free to be moved slightly by the a

ction of the product flowing through them. Each tube rests at its ends on a fine

edge within a hole of larger diameter than the tube. The vibrating effect of the

product flow helps prevent product bridging and hang-ups and can eliminate the

need for external vibrators.
