Like having a third hand, Welders Magnetic Squares are the tidiest and fastest way to set up and clamp steel workpieces for welding.

Various sizes, strengths & configurations enable you to clamp almost any size of steel workpiece at 45 and 90 degrees or other angles for welding or brazing. Unlike mechanical clamps, these have no protruding screws or levers.

• Maximum recess depth between side (pole) plates To accommodate round material (see chart below) a good, deep recess is needed.

Place a Serpent and Dove Square on a true surface and it won’t wobble.

It is important that Welders Magnetic Squares accommodate round material as well as flat. All Serpent and Dove Welders Magnetic Squares have the magnet element recessed well below the holding edges of the Square. This feature makes our Squares most suitable for holding round material (pipe or bar). To clamp round sections securely, both pole plates must be in contact with the work piece. The deeper the recess, the better small diameters are clamped. Low cost alternatives miss this advantage.
