Corporate Awards Night: Australian Promotional Marketing Awards (APMA)

(Thu 26th June 08 @ Daltone House, Pyrmont)

We were very excited to be a part of the APMA annual awards, held at The Daltone House, Pyrmont.  The theme for this years APMA Awards was 'CARNIVAL'.  Our entertainment for this particular event, was broken up into various segments.  We incoporated performers in costume for a meet and greet & atmospheric segment while guests were arriving and having pre dinner drinks and nibbles.  As an official 'Opening' to the night we performed a choreographic dance display and escoted the special celebrity guests MC for the night, 'Effie' (aka Mary Koustas) in true rio carnaval spirit with live Batucada drumming.

Opening Launch: Amazon Steakhouse Restaurant, Newtown (Sat 12th April 08)

Promotional Event: World Expeditions (Wed 6th February 08 @ Martin Place, Sydney)

World Expeditions organise travel packages to all regions of South America / Brazil.  Hotbeat Productions were called upon display and represent Brazil.  In peak lunch time at Martin Place, our Batucada drummers and Capoeirista's surely did grab everones attention, making the promotion for World Expeditions very succesful!!

National event: A1 Grand Prix - Eastern Creek (Sun 3rd Feb 2008)

We were called upon once again to entertain patrons at the A1 Grand Prix at Easter Creek.  As well as performing and Opening Act for the days races, out Batucada drummers did some roving, up close and personal with the spectators.

Corporate Charity Event: The Make a WIsh Foundation Annual Ball

New Company Launch: ACISION (formerly Logica CMG)

For this particular company launch we were asked to Meet & Greet guests on arrival, perform our 'Ritmo Latino' show as the nights main entertainment act and also have our dancers stay back with the DJ and get everyone in the Party mood.  Everyone had a great time.  We even had the directors involved as part of the show! Corporate Promotions: Guy Leech ‘World of Fitness’ launch

Iron man and Celebrity Survivor Guy Leech, has a mission and that is to help fight obesity and heart disease, two of the biggest health issues to hit the Australia.  Guy has created the ‘Guy Leech World of Fitness’ empire and hopes this will get “Australia moving again”.  Holding his launch party at Will & Toby’s at Manly, Among the guest list were fellow celebrities, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, David Oldfield, Johdi Meares, Matt Shirvington, Wayne Gardner- to name a few.

The ‘Ritmo Latino’ dancers were there to great guests on the red carpet and entertain guests on the dance floor!!  

Corporate Event: CYCA 2006 Regatta (Thu 9th Nov 2006)

For the second year in a row the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia have called upon HOTBEAT PRODUCTIONS to supply the Entertainment for their biggest event of the year!  Their annual Regatta Race!  During morning refreshments and before formal speeches and the start of the race, our Can Can girls & Carmen Miranda provided atmospheric Roving Entertainment.

In the afternoon, to welcome the crew back from their day out at sea, we greeted them with our Brazilian drummers playing smooth Brazilian Pagode Samba beats.  After announcements, speeches and before the winner was announced, we picked up the energy and vibe with the Batucada drums and Samba girls performing. 

Industry Expo: Australian International Motor Show-New Peugeot Reveal 

(Thu 26th Oct 2006)

Held at the Sydney Convention Centre at Darling Harbour each year, The Australian International Motor show showcases and unveils all that is new and exciting in style, technology and design within all that has to do with motor vehicles.  Utilising dancers, girls, musicians and even celebrities to attract attention to their vehicles - this year our Capoeira Boys helped reveal the new Peurgeot 207 EPURE car.  Obviously the female dancer got more attention(wonder why??) and our boys are standing behind her.  To view the reveal click on the link below and chose the PEUGEOT option on the scroll bar below the footage screen. http://static.carsguide.news.com.au/aims2006/highlights/popup.htm

(Thu 7th Sept 2006 Tank Night Club, Sydney)

RED BULL'S famous saying is that it “Gives you Wings” and what better way to represent this then turning a night club into a airport lounge-VIP of coarse!

Red Bull’s theme for their recent promotional event is, RED BULL ‘Flight Club’.  An invitation only event, Tank Night Club was transformed into an exclusive flight lounge where guests where transported to 3 unique world destinations.

Hotbeat Productions created the visual, by having their talented performers represent each city:

New York- Cool Break dancers showcased their popping, locking and breaking skills.

Rio- Capoeira dancers amaze the audience with their dancing and acrobatics.

Ibiza-Sexy and chic our exotic dancers wowed the crowd in the early hours.

Corporate charity event: KIDZ WISH Foundation Boxing Tournament

(Fri 21st July 2006)

An International Boxing Tournament was held at Wollongong WIN Entertainment center in support of the KIDZ WISH Foundation.  Both Australian and International contenders competed.  Our Brazilian Batucada Drummers, Capoeira and Samba Dancers entertained the crowd, both in the ring and out in between rounds.

Corporate Promotions: NOKIA ‘Defend Your Turf’  (Finals-Thu 25th May 2006) 

In the lead up to The FIFA World Cup frenzy, NOKIA staged some friendly soccer matches to get everyone in the right spirit.

With the preliminary rounds held during the week the winners were ready to take on ‘The Boys from Brazil’ in the finals.

Held at The Overseas Passenger Terminal forecourt, Circular Quay, a mock soccer field was erected especially for the showdown.  After the Semi-Final games, it was down to ‘Oz Loco’ to take on ‘The Boys from Brazil’.

With a Live Band and ‘Ritmo Latino’s Batucada Drummers and Samba Dancers, the atmosphere on the field was nothing short of exciting for both payers and spectators.

‘Oz Loco’ was defeated and the trophy was presented to ‘The Boys from Brazil’.  Game over -everyone made their way into the Cruise Bar to catch Australia V Greece live from MCG.

Corporate product launch & promotional event: ‘MIXT’ Guerilla Street Campaign 

(Fri 19th & Sat 20th May 2006)

‘Mixt’, a new soft drink from Frucor Beverages Australia have decided to approach their recent marketing campaign from a slightly different and unique angle.

 ‘Mixt’ being different and unique in it self, comprises of 50% real fruit juice and 50% fizz.  With flavours such as Orange, Pineapple and Mango it was only fitting that colour and excitement be added to their street campaign.

‘HOTBEAT Productions’ performers were asked to “make some noise” through the streets of Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs.  Tropical Batucada Drummers, Capoeira dancers and the Lady with the Tutti Frutti hat ‘Carmen Miranda’ brought attention where it was needed as ‘Mixt’ samples were handed out to the public.

The 2-day promotion was successful and the campaign surely created the tropical feel and vibe that this new drink aims to deliver.

Corporate product launch: L'Oreal Style and shoot Talent spotting -‘play ball’ by tecni.art

(Tue 4th April 2006 held at The Space, Sydney)

Each year L’Oreal holds its Style and shoot competition throughout Australia.  This year’s night also saw the launch of L’Oreal’s new styling range called ‘Play ball’ by tecni.art.

With ‘Play balls’ motto being - serious fun the ‘play ball’ products come in 3 varieties and colours to represent them.  With the Beach crème, L’Oreal chose to have Ritmo Latino’s  Capoeira dancers represent the sun, beach and free style atmosphere. With tresses all styled and wearing the associated product colour of orange, our Boys took to the stage and showed the crowd their amazing flips and moves and carefree beach side attitude.  Totally awesome!!

Corporate event: ‘Pele’ at Sydney Press Conference

(Thu 2nd March 2006 held at Museum of Contemporary Arts)

When soccer hero legend ‘Pele’ visited Sydney for his World Cup FIFA/MasterCard Promotional Tour, it was none other than Hotbeat Production’s ‘Ritmo Latino’ performers that were called upon to be the entertainment for the night.

In true Brazilian style, the dancers and drummers escorted ‘Pele’ under a soccer net to the stage in full rhythm, dance and song!  He was called upon to do a ‘Question and Answer’ and sign a couple of soccer balls for competition winners.  Formalities over, ‘Ritmo Latino’ took the stage where they performed to Pele and guests.  A wonderful display of colour and energy, the show comprised of beautiful samba dancers and costumes, Capoeira martial arts and acrobatics display and live Batucada carnavale drumming.

A great night was had by all, and one I’m sure the ‘Ritmo Latino’ performers will remember.

National event: A1 Grand Prix - Eastern Creek (Sun 9th Nov 2005)

The A1 Grand Prix is one of the most important dates in the motor sport competition calendar and this year was no exception.

The crowd was not only treated to the thrilling and exhilarating performances on the racetrack, they were also entertained in between races also.

Roving Entertainment kept the crowds spirits and enthusiasm high.  Amongst them- Hotbeat Productions Batucada and Capoeira Boys who added colour, noise and excitement.
