DIAMAND'S BIO

Diamand is an accomplished performer who began dancing at an early age in Sydney. With a personable and friendly approach to her teaching, she recognizes the different needs of her students and inspires confidence and genuine feel for the music.

In studios crossing ‘Dance Central’, ‘Club Salsa’ and ‘Salsation Dance’, 'The Silver Tree' & 'City Dance Centre', Diamand has made dance accessible and an enjoyable experience for students for 10 years, in private and large groups and of all ages!

The focus to detail and building of confidence in her students, that Diamand brings to her teaching, stems from her extensive experience in a wide variety of dance, choreography and performance, including the Olympic Opening Ceremony, Latin and Funk groups, film clips and commercials. She has studied many forms of dance including Jazz, Latin American Dance, Brazilian, Funk, Hip Hop, Afro , Ballroom and Singing.

As a registered Certificate III fitness Instructor & Certificate IV Personal Trainer and with over 15 years experience- Diamand has worked for fitness centres throughout Syndey and Corporate Fitness Providers. Her personal training and group workouts have been taught to corporate clients such as Nokia and Chorus Hotels.

Diamand is currently based in Sydney choreographing, co-directing and peforming, with her husband in their own show "Ritmo Latino" and production entertainment company Hotbeat Productions and is teaching students Funk and Samba at City Dance Centre."
