Who are we?
 |
Monsters and Mayhem is a new company, based in Glasgow, that creates exciting children’s theatre, puppet theatre and visual theatre, and helps others do the same!
We specialise in making theatre in public spaces such as museums and art galleries, as well as creating props, puppets and strange things for organisations, individuals and theatre companies across Scotland. |
Monsters and Mayhem began in 1999 in Sydney, Australia, creating a children’s play in the grounds of Government House for the Festival of Sydney. Monsters and Mayhem has worked with organisations such as Hyde Park Barracks Museum, Susannah Place Museum, the Wildflower Gardens, the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales, and the Justice and Police Museum.

In 2005 Jillian Webster, the director of Monsters and Mayhem, decided to start Monsters and Mayhem once more in her newfound home, Scotland. Since restarting, Monsters and Mayhem has designed and made puppets for Wonderland Entertainment and developed 'Pirates!', an educational puppet show for the Glasgow Science Centre.
We look forward to many years of inspiring people, creating fun, and helping individuals and organisations in Scotland to reach their creative potential! |
