What do we do?

Monsters and Mayhem creates theatre.  (That's the short answer!)

We can help with absolutely any part of the production or performance process - from first ideas and scriptwriting to designing shows and building sets, making puppets and costumes, creating soundtracks or producing whole shows from scratch!  We primarily focus on creating theatre in museums, galleries, and other public places, which means we are very good at entertaining (and educating) any kind of audience in a wide variety of spaces. We also work in traditional theatres and alternative venues too.

The specialist skills of Monsters and Mayhem also help others including solo puppeteers, small theatre companies, writers, and museums and galleries.  We can help with puppet construction, mask-making, script work, direction, puppeteering and more!  Monsters and Mayhem also loves to introduce storytelling, and can help with a range of educational services from staff training to compiling education packs.
