There are many other ways in which Monsters and Mayhem may be able to help with creative projects.

Are you planning to develop new play scripts, with a particular focus on theatre in education, puppetry and work for children? Would you like help developing a new creative workshop, craft, or drama activities for children? Please feel free to contact us if you think we may be able to help - there’s no harm in asking!

Some things that Monsters and Mayhem has been involved with in the past include:

Writing and Dramaturgy - Monsters and Mayhem can develop new play scripts, with a particular focus on theatre in education, puppetry and work for children. Our dramaturge has experience working with a prestigious national script assessment organisation.

Street Theatre - Visual and character based performances in markets, museums, hotels, and for corporate functions (including walk-around museum characters and strange folk who pop-up during walking tours)

Odd Props - making peculiar props for short film, theatre, and museum education programs

Drama, Writing or Storytelling Workshops - for a range of ages (from working with children to professional development for adults)

Face Painting - painting faces to an unusual theme for special fair and festival days (such as ‘the Olive Festival’ and ‘the Garden Festival’ both at different properties of the Historic Houses Trust of NSW)

Gentle Clowns - good for entertaining families who have to wait a long time in a queue

Education Packs - Creating useful information to give to teachers to allow for pre and post-visit activities to link the performance and the curriculum.
